Looks like school administrators in Fairmont, West Virginia are worried about gangs:
At Fairmont Senior High, a host of clothing and accessories are
prohibited, from boxer shorts and pajama bottoms to trench coats of any
color. Students are also not permitted to wear accessories that could
be gang-related, including chains or the Confederate flag.
I understand.
What if your boxers are actually covered by your pants?! Maybe Fairmont administrators are worried that their students will get in an accident and the hospital will see their students’ underwear? (Aside: Was I the only one who heard this obscure motivation for keeping one’s underwear clean and fresh as a kid?). Anyway, talk about your Nanny State school administrators. – TL
