I was enchanted to see this posted, so enchanted that I just watched all three of them for the first time since my years at Harrison Elementary. I’m sure we could all cavil about particular points, but I found it a remarkably intelligent presentation for young children. I can’t help but wonder, what do fifth and sixth graders see now? Thanks a million for posting this.
Glad to hear you enjoyed watching this once again. We could spend hours interpreting this in light of the civil war centennial and civil rights movement, but I can easily see how it might spark the imagination of young students.
Great Film too bad it is not used today!
