Once again, a village has lost its idiot.

Is this person famous in America? I assumed it was a comedian in drag, and the lameness was the joke?

“Is this person famous in America?”

      Good Lord, I hope not.

Ouch! To the eyes and the ears.

    • Kevin Levin Mar 21, 2012 @ 11:09

C’mon, is she really that bad?

      • Michael Douglas Mar 21, 2012 @ 13:26

Yeah, Kevin. It’s pretty bad. Amusing; but still bad. Embarrassing question: is she really a “she?”

        • Kevin Levin Mar 21, 2012 @ 13:46

I hate to say but I was wondering the same thing.

I enjoyed it. Good use of the hoop skirt. “Both sides had big cannons”… priceless.

  • James Harrigan Mar 20, 2012 @ 15:32

Wow. That may be the single lamest thing I’ve ever seen. Where do you find this stuff, Kevin?

    • Kevin Levin Mar 20, 2012 @ 15:39

Come on, it wasn’t that bad. 🙂

I have an RSS feed set up for certain sites. I am committed to bringing you the latest in Civil War Memory – the good and the bad.

I guess this is one of the bad 🙂 not to mention its rap. Ugh!

        • Michael Douglas Mar 20, 2012 @ 21:21

          That is *not* rap. 😉

          • Sean Mar 21, 2012 @ 9:44

How can you tell? It sounds equally lame…

            • Michael Douglas Mar 21, 2012 @ 13:23

I’d tell you how I can tell and why I say it’s not rap. . .but it would be pointless and I’d likely end up offending you. 😀 Besides, this ain’t Musicology 101.

              • Kevin Levin Mar 21, 2012 @ 13:46

We should take up a collection so he can get some lessons with Chuck D and Flavor Flav. Yeah booooy.

              • Sean Mar 22, 2012 @ 7:03

Thanks, Michael. It’s pretty hard to offend me, especially in a discussion of music. I love just about every type of music but (1) the commercialized crap that passes as country nowadays and (2) rap. To me, it is just vocalization that is often very unwieldy and unmusical. At times, it can be used effectively – see the brief rap contained in the song “Rocky Ground” on Bruce Springsteen’s new record – but I’ve heard plenty of stuff that is proclaimed to be rap that sounds much worse that what that woman is doing in this video…

But you’re right, this is not a music blog…

        Yeah it is that bad.
