Selling Nathan Bedford Forrest

Nathan Bedford Forrest made a fortune selling slaves before the war. So, isn’t it fitting that the final act in the changing of the name of Forrest Park in Memphis, Tennessee could very well involve a sale.
Here is the Nathan Bedford Forrest chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans at the dedication of a marker for the park.
And here is the same marker that may go on sale in a few months.
