How You Apply For a Job at the Civil War Trust

I absolutely love this video, which was done as part of an application for a position with the Civil War Trust. The applicant plays off of Ken Burns’s documentary and the popular short segment featuring Sullivan Ballou’s final letter home to his wife. Good luck.

Well, if he doesn’t get the Civil War Trust job, I’m sure another of Kevin’s blog followers will be in touch with him.

Alas, I didnt get the job. Got the interview the next morning! But flubbed it in person.

Its okay. Got a much better job in the end. Plus, it was a blast to make. Larry Cebula of Northwesthistory.blogspot.com gave me the original inspiration. One hour of late night editing and boom. Interview.

Let that be a lesson to history job seekers. Dont be afraid to be a little silly.

Thanks for linking. That was nice! Love CWM
