Yesterday I received the following email:
Dear Compatriot,
I am — —, treasurer of the SCV Edmund W. Pettus Camp in Alexander City, Alabama. One of our members has donated to the I-65 Flag Preservation Fund. I am not sure where to send the donation.
Can you provide a contact and address?
Thank You
I think he has the wrong email address. So, where would you have his donation sent?
And in other news out of the whacky world of the Confederate heritage community: It’s never too early to start your Christmas shopping. The 2017 Order of Confederate Rose calendar will make for the perfect stocking stuffer.
Oh God, tell me this is a joke. >_<
Satire committed suicide because it couldn't compete with the reality.
I see plenty of thorns, but not too many roses.
How about dividing the donation evenly between the SPLC and the Alabama NAACP?
Politics aside, those are some ruggedly handsome men in that calendar.
I will make sure to send you one. 🙂
It looks like they chose the top 12 of the 14 who applied.
I, for one, would like to see a match between Mr. January and Rex Kwon Do from Napoleon Dynamite :

“Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War” would probably like a donation too.
Kevin,
Take the donation and buy all the calendars you can get yours hands on. You can send them to all your neo-confederate supporters as holiday gifts, I’m sure they would appreciate it. I mean who wouldn’t want one of those!!!
3rd-ed: SPLC!
Pick a museum with balanced, historically accurate Civil War coverage, and send his contribution there, explaining you believe museums and history books are the only appropriate places today for flags of the Confederacy.
Yes, SPLC for sure.
The Southern Poverty Law Center.
I can send you my address. Tell them to make the check out to Cash. 😉
