Interview about *Searching for Black Confederates*

The latest issue of The Civil War Monitor includes and interview with me about Searching for Black Confederates. It covers many of the main points that I explore in great detail in the book.

I will be doing a number of podcast interviews over the next few weeks about the book, which I will share as well for those of you who are interested. Thanks to CWM for the opportunity to talk about my new book.

A number of you have emailed me about signed copies. Of course, you can come see me in person over the next few months to have your book signed, but I will eventually be selling signed copies directly. Stay tuned for details.

I would love a signed copy of your book! I’ll be watching out for this release. Great article that resonates with me; I work in public history, and have found some “lost cause” examples the specific subject I deal with. I am particularly intrigued by the need for better digital resource literacy, both as a genealogist and as someone with a degree in library science.
