I saw ” For Adam’s Sake” on your book list. I look forward to any comments you might have on this title. I just started reading this one. There is a podcast on fieldstone common with this author which was very informative.

      Hi Terry,

I am one chapter into the book and thoroughly enjoying it.

Emberton, Gallagher, and Janney all look like must-reads to me. Now I’ve got my summer reading program thanks to you!

    Hi Kevin,

    Good list! Two quick things:

    1) Did you know that Maxwell has made another CW movie, this one about Northern Copperheads? First I’d heard of it, so I thought I’d share: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_SHERZJvBw

    2) Also wanted to mention, apropros of this list and because I think CW Memory readers would hopefully find it interesting, that my next book (on the Chinese Exclusion Act and what it can teach us about America) comes out on June 21st. It’s in Palgrave’s new Pivot series, and so is designed in particular for digital reading and is very reasonable in that format. Here’s the Amazon page: http://www.amazon.com/The-Chinese-Exclusion-Act-America/dp/113733908X

    Thanks!
    Ben

      Hi Ben,

First, congratulations on your upcoming book. Best of luck with it. I’ve seen the previews for the new Maxwell movie. A representative of the film asked if I might advertise the movie on my blog. I politely declined. 🙂
