Georgia Division of Reenactors. Very lively crowd. I have to say, having reenacted in Resaca before, I love that battlefield.
They were good sports.
Thought it was a good skit. They also have some funny behind the scenes footage on Conan’s site.
123rd New York is the regiment that Rice Bull was in who wrote a wonderful memoir of his service during the war.
That looked like a neat rural part of the Resaca battlefield. Need to go there sometime.
I agree they were very good sports. I think Conan really loves Civil War and American history. It would be interesting one day to hear his thoughts on the subject at length.
