123rd New York is the regiment that Rice Bull was in who wrote a wonderful memoir of his service during the war.
That looked like a neat rural part of the Resaca battlefield. Need to go there sometime.
I agree they were very good sports. I think Conan really loves Civil War and American history. It would be interesting one day to hear his thoughts on the subject at length.

Georgia Division of Reenactors. Very lively crowd. I have to say, having reenacted in Resaca before, I love that battlefield.
